My rugby photography career began in 2015. I decided to bring my camera to our local team's (Curitiba Rugby) home games and have a go at it. At some point I got on the team bus and, over the next four years, travelled over 22,000km/13700 miles through the south and southeast of Brazil, photographing the team as they competed in state and national championships. I covered men's, women's, adult, youth, XV's and 7's. This is how I learned to love the game and the people who play it.

In 2018 I moved to Denver, Colorado, and started to shoot some local games. Being near Glendale I would also have the opportunity to photograph some international matches: Women's Sevens World Series, USA international matches (vs Barbarians, Canada, Uruguay and Chile) and Super Rugby Americas. I have also been commissioned by The Rugby Journal for portraits of Waisali Serevi, to capture the essence of rugby in Brazil and to document the Touch Rugby World Cup in England.
